Welcome to Games Center. By creating an account, accessing, or utilizing our game directory and embedded services, you agree to comply strictly with these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Games Center.
2. Account Registration and Firebase Authentication
We utilize Google Firebase Authentication for secure account creation and management. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. By utilizing our Firebase-powered authentication, you agree that your sign-in data is processed securely through Google Cloud infrastructure.
3. Cloud Storage and Synchronization
Game Center uses Firebase Cloud Firestore to securely save, sync, and persist your in-game favorites, profile metadata, and recently played history. We make no guarantees of absolute data permanence. Disruptions in the Firestore database network may occasionally prevent real-time data syncs.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to exploit bugs, abuse our Firestore bandwidth, or utilize automated scripts (bots) to manipulate the database or user authentication layers.
1. Data Collection via Firebase
When you register for an account using our service, your email address, generated UID, and chosen authentication provider details are securely collected and processed by Google Firebase Authentication. We do not process raw passwords directly.
2. Database Usage (Cloud Firestore)
To provide a seamless cloud-sync experience, your user profile data (including display name, bio, and avatar URL), a list of your favorited games, and your recent gameplay history are permanently saved in our Firestore Database. This data is strictly bound to your Firebase Auth UID.
3. Analytics and Third-Party Embeds
We utilize basic analytics to ensure platform stability. Embedded games are hosted by external third parties. These third parties may execute their own tracking scripts independently. Games Center is not responsible for data collected within the embedded iframe environments.
4. Data Security
Your data is protected by Firestore Security Rules, ensuring that only you (via your authenticated UID token) can read or modify your personal profile and gameplay records.
1. Essential Local Storage Usage
Rather than traditional tracking cookies, Games Center heavily utilizes standard HTML5 `localStorage` and `IndexedDB`. These local storage variables (such as `gc_favorites` and `gc_recent_played`) allow the site to cache your data locally before securely synchronizing it with our Firebase Firestore servers.
2. Authentication Tokens
Google Firebase Authentication automatically stores secure OAuth tokens and session data in your browser's IndexedDB. This is strictly required to keep you logged in between sessions without requiring continuous re-authentication.
3. User Interface Preferences
We store simple string identifiers (e.g., `gc_theme` and `gc_lang`) in your browser to remember whether you prefer Dark or Light mode, and your currently selected language variant.
Your Privacy Choices & Opt-Out
1. Data Deletion Rights
You have the full right to remove your presence from our cloud network. By clicking "Sign Out" and clearing your browser cache, your local `localStorage` footprint is eradicated.
2. Firestore Data Erasure
If you wish to completely wipe your player metadata, saved favorites, and history from our Google Cloud Firestore servers, you must submit a formal request to our support network. Once processed, your Firebase Auth identity and associated Firestore documents will be permanently purged.
3. Third-Party Tracking
To opt-out of data collection from our embedded third-party games, we highly recommend utilizing modern browser features such as tracking protection extensions, or disabling cross-site cookies in your browser's core privacy settings.
